How booking works.

Securing your date

A 30% deposit secures your date. The deposit is non refundable, because it holds your date and turns away other bookings. Until the deposit is received, the date is not held.

Payment

• Weddings: the remaining balance is due 14 days before your wedding.
• Creator sessions: the remaining balance is due before the shoot.
• Corporate productions: payment follows the schedule in your written scope.
• Monthly partnerships: billed monthly, with the first month due at signing.

If you need to cancel

Please tell us as early as you can in writing. Because we turn away other work to hold your date, the amount owed depends on how close the date is.

Weddings

• More than 90 days before the wedding: you forfeit the deposit.
• 90 to 30 days before: 50% of the total is due.
• Fewer than 30 days before: the full total is due.

Corporate productions

• More than 14 days before the shoot: you forfeit the deposit.
• 14 to 3 days before: 50% of the total is due.
• Fewer than 72 hours before: the full total is due.

Creator sessions

• Cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours notice. With less notice, the deposit is kept.

Rescheduling

You may change your date once, subject to our availability, and your deposit carries over to the new date. Further changes need a new deposit.

If we need to cancel

If we cannot film your project for any reason, you receive a full refund, including your deposit, and we will help you find a replacement videographer.

Weather and emergencies

For severe weather, illness or other emergencies outside anyone's control, we will work with you to reschedule where we can.

Monthly partnerships

The Archive and The Anthology run month to month. Either side may end the partnership with 30 days written notice. Sessions and videos that are not used in a month do not carry over.

Delivery

• Weddings: your teaser arrives within 36 hours of your event, and your full film follows in 28 days.
• Creators and corporate projects: delivery timelines are set in your written plan or scope.
• Rush delivery is available for an additional 30%, at half the standard turnaround.

Travel

Travel is included within 40 miles of Dallas. From 41 to 100 miles, the fee is $150. Beyond 100 miles, the fee is $0.70 per mile round trip. For out of state projects, the client covers flights, hotel and ground transport, plus a $250 travel day fee for trips over 4 hours.

Corporate projects

Corporate projects begin with a consultation. Editing and post production are scoped in writing after that conversation, before any work begins.
